COF2026 Newsletter #1
Thank you for registering for the 2026 Canadian Orienteering Festival, including Fishbones and the Canadian Orienteering Championships! We are just over two weeks from the close of our regular registration deadline, and have a couple of brief items to share:
COF Towels - Order by June 10th!
To secure your one-of-a-kind COF2026 beach towel, please ensure you order by June 10th. After this date, we are unable to guarantee availabilty. If you forgot to order your towel when you registered, you can still do so by visiting the stand-alone store.
Banquet Tickets
We hope you will join us for the COC Banquet on August 1, 2026 at University of Kings College (part of the map used for the Sprint on July 31st). To order tickets for friends of family members not participating in the event, or if you did not order when you registered, you can purchase these through the store as well.
Join a Full Moon Paddle the night of Wednesday July 29th!
The tour launches out of Peggy’s Cove, a 40 minute drive from Halifax. The cost is $60 per person. Group size is about 12 people, so if you are interested, call in advance to secure your spot. Please contact East Coast Outfitters directly at 902-852-2567. If weather is bad, they may cancel and/or suggest an alternative date, such as the day before or day after. You will not be charged if they cancel.
